The idea is simple. Children in costume walk from car to car, and families hand out candy from trunks they have decorated.

Everything takes place in one spot, the Municipal Parking Lot at 29 Park Avenue.
Families who want to host must decorate their car trunk and bring treats to hand out. Hosts should arrive at 10 a.m. to park and set up their displays before trick or treating begins at 11 a.m.
The listing does not say whether there is a cost, how hosts sign up, whether there is a rain plan or if there are age limits. It also lists no phone number, email or other contact for the organizer.
Hosts have until 10 a.m. Saturday to get their trunks in place, and trick or treating starts an hour later.
