Union Township Seeks Community Input on Health and Planning
Maria Torres · Union County Life
The Township of Union is asking residents to weigh in on the places and services that shape public health in the community. A new survey through the Plan4HealthNJ initiative seeks feedback on neighborhoods, streets, parks, food access, and healthcare facilities.
Plan4HealthNJ is a statewide program led by the New Jersey Chapter of the American Planning Association. The initiative aims to improve public health outcomes and advance health equity through local planning decisions and investments.
"The places we live, work, and move through every day—from our streets and neighborhoods to our parks, food access, and healthcare—play a powerful role in shaping our health," the township stated. "Your input will help guide real decisions about future planning, investments, and policies that impact the well-being of everyone in the Township of Union."
