Rahway Election Day 2026: Mayor, Council and Board Races

Rahway voters go to the polls today, Tuesday, November 3, 2026, to choose a mayor, City Council members, and Board of Education members, according to a TAPinto Rahway report. Union County Life is sharing this guide to the races and candidates on the ballot. Polls close at 8 p.m.

Voters may choose one of three candidates for mayor: Raymond A. Giacobbe Jr. (D), Casey E. Granieri (R), and Hope Moran (I).

For City Council, the 3rd Ward has one unexpired seat, and Karla Timmons (D) is the only candidate listed. The report says no Republican petition was filed for that seat. Four candidates are running for three At Large seats: Jeffrey Brooks (D), Joanna Miles (D), Jeremy E. Mojica (D), and Alan Levy (R).

Voters may choose three of four candidates for the Rahway Board of Education: Carlos Garay, Sean White, Jennifer Moteiro, and Leslie Rippon.
