On Quimby Street, Learning Express announced at the end of July that it closed its location at 104 Quimby Street after 20 years of operation. The toy and game shop posted on social media: "We are currently searching for a new location in the local area" and thanked "all our loyal customers" for their support.
Next door, N&C Jewelers, run by Nabig Sakr and Carmen Cascao since 2014, closed for retirement. Superfly, a bungee fitness studio that opened in 2024, also closed recently.
