Elizabeth Back to School Health Clinic Offers Free Vaccines and Physicals

Union County has partnered with RWJBarnabas Health and state health agencies to host a special back to school health event for local students. The program takes place on Monday September twenty-one from three PM to seven PM at the Union County Family Clinic in Elizabeth.

Families across Union County can access required childhood vaccinations and routine school physicals at no charge. Union County Life confirmed that pre-registration is mandatory for all appointments. Parents must sign up by Friday September eleven to secure a slot for their children.

The event serves children from pre-K through age eighteen. All recommended childhood vaccines will be available on site. The regular daytime clinic operations will be closed on September twenty-one to dedicate the entire facility to this evening program.

Community health workers and SNAP navigators will also be present during the event. They will help guide parents toward ongoing health programs, social services, and local food support. Registered participants will receive a lunch box with fresh produce, healthy recipes, and nutrition guides while supplies last.

The clinic is located in the basement level at forty Parker Road in Elizabeth. Parents must bring a birth certificate for the child, a photo ID for the parent or legal guardian, proof of Union County residency, and a school referral if applicable.
