The City of Linden has opened applications for its annual Hometown Heroes Banner Program to honor local military veterans and active duty service members. Banners feature a photograph of the service member alongside their full name, branch of service, and era of military duty. Union County Life confirmed that banners will be installed on light poles along primary corridors, including Wood Avenue and Saint Georges Avenue, ahead of upcoming civic holidays.
