A Taste of Italy Dinner in New Providence Raises Funds for LINC

LINC is inviting the community to dinner on Sunday, Nov. 1, to support its fight against food insecurity. A Taste of Italy will take place at 1441 Springfield Avenue in New Providence.
Guests can choose one of two seatings, at 4 p.m. or 7 p.m. Local restaurants donated a full Italian dinner and dessert for the evening.
LINC, short for Linking Individuals to Necessities in the Community, is a nonprofit based at the same Springfield Avenue address. It says it has been helping New Jersey neighbors get the support they need since 2022.
Along with the meal, guests can take guided tours of the LINC Resource Pantry and join other activities planned for the night.
Tickets cost $30 per person in advance or $35 at the door, with $25 tickets for seniors and children under 12. Tickets can be bought online through the LINC events page, which also has a form for paying by check.
LINC is also looking for volunteers at the 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. seatings. Helpers will serve food, check in guests and support guests during the event. Volunteers can sign up on the same LINC events page.
