Maria Torres · Union County Life
According to Kenilworth Rotary Club's announcement.
The Kenilworth Rotary Club is collecting items for veterans, with a donation deadline of Thursday, Dec. 10, 2026. The club is working with Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2230. Union County Life is sharing details from the club’s announcement.
Requested items include hats, gloves, snacks, board games and personal care items. The list includes “and more,” so other items are welcome too. The club says any donation is greatly appreciated.
Donations can be dropped off at the Kenilworth Rec Center, 575 Boulevard, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The veterans drive is one of several local Rotary projects. Others focus on hunger insecurity, support for youth service clubs in schools, and scholarships. Rotary International was founded in 1905 and has 1.2 million people in 200 countries. The Kenilworth club is looking forward to celebrating its 80th year of service in June 2027.
