According to the Township of Scotch Plains' announcement.
Older homeowners in Scotch Plains have until Monday, Nov. 2, to file the PAS-1 application for state property tax relief.
The Township of Scotch Plains reminder applies to homeowners who were 65 or older on Dec. 31, 2025, or whose spouse was. One application covers three state programs: Senior Freeze, ANCHOR and Stay NJ.
Eligible homeowners can receive up to $6,500 in property tax relief, according to the township.
Filing is not a one time step. "You must file an application each year to continue receiving benefits," the township said.
