Elizabethtown Gas Work Continues on Clark Streets This Week
Robert Hargrove · Union County Life
According to the Township of Clark's announcement.
Drivers in parts of Clark may run into gas utility crews this week.
Elizabethtown Gas crews are scheduled to continue utility work in Clark this week, the township said. The schedule lists the work in three groups: service renewals, gas main installation and other work locations.
The schedule comes from Elizabethtown Gas, the utility doing the work. The Township of Clark shared it with residents in a construction update.
Service renewal work is scheduled on Stonehenge Terrace, Hall Drive and Goodmans Crossing.
Crews also plan to install gas main and tie it in at Oak Ridge Road and Kincaid Place, and on Cellar Avenue. The Cellar Avenue work is listed as behind the curb.
Additional work locations this week are Westover Road, Crescent Parkway, Linda Lane, Winters Court, Featherbed Lane and Schuyler Drive.
The township asks motorists to use caution when driving through these areas and to allow extra time for possible delays. All work depends on the weather and could change because of unforeseen delays.
The notice does not list daily work hours, detours, road closures or parking restrictions. It does not say whether any customers will lose gas service, and it gives no end date for the overall project. Residents with questions can call the Township of Clark at 732-388-3600.
