Rahway High School Fair Connected Students With Colleges, Careers

According to Rahway High School's announcement.

Students in Rahway got a closer look at life after graduation at the Rahway High School College and Career Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 14.

The fair ran from 6 to 8 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. Rahway High School (RHS) and the Alternative Center for Education (ACE) hosted it together.

Representatives from colleges and universities attended, along with people from businesses and branches of the military. The school named Montclair State University, Ramapo College, Rutgers University, Saint Peter's University, RWJBarnabas Health, the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals and the United States Navy among many others.

Over the evening, students asked questions, gathered information and explored academic and career programs. They also learned about resources to help them as they began planning for life after high school.

"The event supported our ongoing commitment to preparing students for success beyond graduation by helping them make informed decisions about their futures," RHS Principal Dr. Michelle Panichi said.

Panichi also thanked the colleges, universities, career representatives, staff members and community partners who gave their time and expertise.

Rahway High School and ACE said they remain committed to making sure all students have the information, resources and support they need to pursue their goals after high school.
